Act One
-Romeo I, i

This quote said by Romeo is very significant to the play. It is said to refer to the
Montague's and Capulet's hate for each other, but the only reason that this hatred
has lasted so long is because of their love to hate. Most of them love the hatred to
fight and between both of these families. It is so significant to the play because the
play is based upon the hatred between these families. It sets a great background for
the play.
In my opinion, this is one of the most significant quotes in act one. It is a powerful sentence that sets
up the whole play basically. It can be related to every day life because there are people that enjoy
fighting each other. They don't want to apologize to one another so they can still bicker back and forth.
If they would just forgive one another, then they'd both be happier in the long run.

Act Three
-Juliet III, V

This quote said by Juliet in Act Three, scene five means that she is afraid that she will
never be able to see Romeo ever again. She is asking Romeo if he thinks that they will
see each other again. It is significant to the play because this has all happened because
Romeo killed Tybalt. Also, this recently married couple may never see each other
ever again.
The way I feel about the quote's significance is that it is very important to this play. It sets
up a very dramatic situation about the newly married couple. It can be related to today because
the people that are in the army feel that they don't know if they can have the chance to ever get
home again. Both people are left very upset and left wondering if they can ever be together again.
